You bring the aircraft. We'll work out the rest.
Some commissions are for one person: the aircraft they fly, the one nobody sells a model of. Some are for two, with a wedding date attached. Some arrive from a company or a squadron with a list of names and a deadline. All of them start with an email.
Send the aircraft type, a reference photo, a tail number, a route, a date, or just a rough description of what you're picturing. We'll come back with what's possible, what it costs and how long it takes, before anything gets made.
Custom airplane models
The airframe nobody sells. The type you fly, the one in the logbook, the one your grandfather flew, built from your photos and your markings.
Custom pilot gifts
For a first solo, a type rating, a promotion, a retirement, or a milestone that deserves more than a card. One piece, or fifty of them.
Aviation wedding theme
For couples who don't want an ordinary wedding. Table numbers, rings, cufflinks, keychains, invitations. A whole theme rather than one prop.

Custom airplane models
Our catalog covers more than two dozen airframes. It doesn't cover yours: not the airliner in your operator's livery, not the taildragger your grandfather flew, not the four-ship your squadron put up on the last day of a deployment.
Most custom airplane models are commissioned by one person about one aircraft. The type they fly, the type they trained on, the tail number that doesn't exist as a model anywhere. We work from your reference photos and drawings and make the piece by hand in our workshop.
Balance models rotate on a single point of contact and are hand-balanced in house, so a custom piece can either sit still or move. Tell us which one you're picturing.
What to tell us
- Aircraft type, including types we've never built before
- Tail number, unit or operator markings you want carried through
- Format: a desk model, a kinetic balance model, or a multi-aircraft formation
- An inscribed base with a name, call sign, tail number, company or date
- Scale and footprint, so it fits the desk, shelf or cabinet it's going on
- Quantity: one piece, or a run of them
- The date it has to exist by

The aviation wedding theme
Two students who met on the same flight line. A first date that was really a hundred-dollar hamburger run. A proposal at three thousand feet. When flying is part of how the couple got here, the wedding usually wants to say so, and a folded paper airplane on the table doesn't quite carry it.
An aviation wedding theme isn't one object, it's a thread running through the whole day. We make the pieces that carry it: the invitations guests open weeks ahead, the table settings, the rings that are still being worn decades later. A tail number, the route between two hometowns, or the date itself can run through all of them.
If you've already pictured something of your own, bring it. Some of the best pieces we've made came from a couple rather than from us. Prices and lead times depend on the piece and the quantity, and everything is made by hand, so get in touch before the rest of the day is locked in and we'll come back with both.

Companies, squadrons and flight schools
The other half of our custom work has no wedding date on it. It has a list of names, a ceremony, and a quantity. Christmas and end-of-year gifts, retirement and change-of-command pieces, graduation awards, anniversary runs, client gifts. Made the same way as everything else, just more than once.
The other thing organisations ask us for is aviation decor: a reception area, a boardroom wall, a squadron building, an office that should look like the people working in it fly for a living.
Presentation packaging is part of the conversation. A piece handed over on a stage, or set on a desk on somebody's last day, shouldn't come out of a plain shipping carton, so custom packaging is quoted alongside the piece itself. If you want a company name, a logo or a unit insignia involved, on the piece or on the box, tell us what you have in mind and we'll come back on what's workable.
One timing note. If it's for the holidays, October or November is when it needs to start. The end of the year is our busiest stretch and everything is made by hand.

Can you make a custom airplane model of a specific aircraft?
Yes. We build custom airplane models from your reference photos and drawings, including aircraft types that aren't in our catalog. You can specify the type, the markings or tail number, the scale, and whether it's a desk model, a kinetic balance model, or a formation display. Do you take custom orders from individuals, or only from companies?
Both. A large share of our custom pilot gifts are single pieces for one person: the aircraft they fly, a first solo, a retirement, a gift for a partner who flies. Companies and squadrons order the same work in quantity. There's no minimum.
Can you create an aviation wedding theme?
Yes. An aviation wedding theme is one of our most requested commissions, and we can carry it across the whole day rather than a single object: invitations, table settings, what the wedding party wears, and the keepsakes people take home. Send us the aircraft in your story, the date and the guest count to start.
What pieces can be part of an aviation wedding theme?

Yes. Custom airplane cufflinks can be made in whichever aircraft type you choose, as a single pair or as matching sets for a wedding party or a unit. Tell us the quantity and the date when you write, since sets are made by hand and need scheduling.
Do you work with companies, squadrons and flight schools?
Yes. We take corporate and squadron commissions for Christmas and end-of-year gifts, retirement and change-of-command pieces, graduation awards, client gifts, and aviation decor for offices, reception areas and hangars. If you want a company name, a logo or a unit insignia involved, tell us and we'll come back on what's workable.
Does a custom order come in special packaging?
It can, and for corporate and squadron orders we recommend it. Custom presentation packaging is quoted alongside the piece, so an order can be handed over at a ceremony exactly as it arrives. If you want branding on the box, ask us and we'll tell you what's workable.
How far in advance should I place a custom order?
As early as you can. Everything is made by hand, and the end of the year is our busiest stretch, so holiday, corporate and squadron commissions should start in October or November at the latest. Wedding commissions should start well before the rest of the day is locked in. We confirm the production timeline in writing with your quote, so you know the delivery window before you commit to anything.
